Our Men’s ministry is dedicated to providing a place and atmosphere where men can share their lives, confident that other men are there to support them. We provide opportunities to grow in one's faith, to find fellowship and to serve significantly.
All men are invited to participate in our discipleship ministry. We do daily Bible reading program of writing out the scripture of the day and then making comments on the passage. When we are done with the personal devotion we log onto our computer and let our small group know that we have completed the task and write a few sentences on what it meant to us. If you are interested, you can find out more by contacting Paul Wood at: firstname.lastname@example.org
Every Man's Battle
We have small groups that meet and discuss the struggles that men go through with overcoming temptations. Using Steven Arterburn and Fred Stoeker's book "Every Man's Battle" as our guide, we look to discuss and talk through the struggles we have and how prayer and accountability can help us to overcome the temptations that try to pull us astray. Our groups meet every Thursday alternating start times (4pm or 5pm). For more information you can contact Pastor Paul at: email@example.com
Men's Prayer Breakfast
Once a month we gather as men together to eat breakfast, fellowship, and learn about Christ. There are opportunities for you to share your thoughts as well as your culinary skills, as all are encouraged to help with preparation of the meal. We spend a time of devotions led by special guests and enjoy fruitful conversations about how God is central to our lives, our church, and our surrounding community. If you are interested, we meet every 4th Sunday of each month (except December) 9AM-10:15AM, at the church.
We, as men, believe it is important to have events that will stimulate our growth in Jesus Christ. So we have a variety of special events we do together, such as:
- Men's Retreats (Twice a year)
- Fun Event outings (Baseball games, movie nights, etc.)
- Acts of Service (building the manger for Light Up Night, shoveling snow, helping people move etc.)
