All-Church Retreat

churchretreat2016

We pray for lots of reasons: to give God praise, to ask for help or healing, to confess our sins, to cry out our hurts, to vent our anger, to worship with others, to seek God’s will, to ask for wisdom, to receive comfort, to hear God speak….

No matter the reason, the ultimate purpose of every prayer is intimacy with God, intimacy that begins with God’s invitation to us. This weekend we’ll explore God’s invitation and the ways we can meet God in prayer as individuals and as a praying community.

Come and share a weekend of worship, teaching, rest and just plain fun with your Eastminster family!

  • Guest teachers on Friday and Saturday who will draw us into Scripture to explore our theme.
  • Saturday experiential workshops on ways to pray alone and with others.
  • Saturday free time options for play and learning and special fun on Saturday night.
  • Nursery and children’s programs during teaching times.
  • Wonderful worship all weekend and communion on Sunday
