We pray for lots of reasons: to give God praise, to ask for help or healing, to confess our sins, to cry out our hurts, to vent our anger, to worship with others, to seek God’s will, to ask for wisdom, to receive comfort, to hear God speak….
No matter the reason, the ultimate purpose of every prayer is intimacy with God, intimacy that begins with God’s invitation to us. This weekend we’ll explore God’s invitation and the ways we can meet God in prayer as individuals and as a praying community.
