Maundy Thursday Service

  • Eastminster Presbyterian Church 250 North Highland Avenue Pittsburgh, PA, 15206 United States (map)

On Maundy Thursday, or Holy Thursday, we remember Jesus' final Passover meal. When he instituted the first Lord's Supper, he granted forgiveness to His disciples through the bread and wine. When we receive the bread and wine of communion in remembrance of Him, we receive that forgiveness and, in turn, forgive others.

The communion service will focus on Jesus’s high priestly prayer found in John 17, foot washing in John 13:1-17, and the Lord’s Supper, Luke 22:1-23.  Please come and be a part of this special night as we ponder two commands that Jesus gives us and one prayer for the Church.
