The Way: A Journey of Confirming

Eastminster’s “confirmation” type program offering. The concept of The Way (Jesus says, “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life” in John 14:6) will help the youth understand how their relationship with God is a journey that follows a particular type of roadmap. Class participants will be asked to commit to attending classes once a month.  All who complete the program will have the opportunity to publicly profess their faith and/or be baptized at an Eastminster worship service.  Classes will be taught by Minister to Children and Youth but will also include shared testimonies given by members of the Eastminster community.

Who can participate?

All youth who are currently in 8th grade or above are eligible, even if they have participated in a similar program in the past.

Why participate?

Participating students will mature their faith through scripture study, prayer for one another, serving in a group mission setting and greater opportunities to use and experience the tools of our faith.

When?

Program begins during this upcoming Lent, generally meeting once per month, and lasts throughout 2025, culminating in a celebratory luncheon in January 2026.
